| http://www.exmoor-nationalpark.gov.uk/about-us/working-with-us/Jobs Conservation Officer - Historic Environment (Grade F - up to £26,276 per annum) Conservation Adviser - Historic Environment (Grade E - up to £22,221 per annum) Exmoor National Park Authority is looking for two committed and motivated historic environment professionals to help both protect and manage Exmoor’s cultural heritage and historic environment, and to promote community engagement in it. Postholders will provide advice on all historic environment matters; maintain and develop the Exmoor National Park Historic Environment Record; handle planning and agri-environment consultations. They will be expected to work in a highly integrated way with colleagues concerned with other aspects of Exmoor’s special qualities such as woodlands, wildlife and landscape. Applicants should be qualified to degree level in an historic environment subject or equivalent; they should have experience of GIS and databases and some experience of rural land management issues; they should be members of professional bodies (such as IfA or IHBC). Applicants for the Officer level post must have staff and contractor supervisory experience. Interviews will be held on 25th May 2012. Closing date for applications is 16 May 2012 |
